1.Pairing and assigning controller numbers can only be done when the PS3 console is on. (power indicator is solid green)

2.When a paired controller is used with another PS3 console, the pairing with original system is cleared. You need pair them again next time.

3.If the controller or the console is off, the port indicators on the controller will turn off and the assigned number will be cleared.

How to Charge the Controller?

1. Connect the ps3 controller to ps3 console / computer/ laptop.

2. When charging, the controller red light flashes; when fully charged, the red light turns off.

NOTE: Do not use cellphone’s charger to charger, the voltage is much higher, it may damage the controller.
